Convalescent Benefit
Purpose:
A discretionary allocation of funds to assist the sick or injured Member — and their partner — to get away for a short recuperative holiday.
Eligibility:
- Member must be absent from work for more than fourteen weeks.
Benefit:
- Each claim must be considered by the Board.
- The benefit payment will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Payment:
- The benefit may be in the form of a Gift Card.
Notes:
- Members must submit a Claim Form for the Board to consider.
