Community Support
Purpose:
Some of the Society's funds are set aside each year to assist local community organisations - and individuals - to provide facilities or services, or achieve goals aimed at benefiting our local community.
Special emphasis is given to programs that directly involve or have a beneficial affect on Members and their families.
Eligibility:
Local and regional community organisations and individuals. Only in response to a letter requesting a donation or support.
Permanent Recipients:
- Lifeline Gippsland - $1,000
- Latrobe Palllative Care Nurses - $1,000
- Maryvale Picnic Club- $5000
Budget:
5% of available reserves at 30th June each year
Notes:
Funds need not be fully expended and do not accumulate.
